The Rookie: Can I sum records in a report and then use the total in a simple calculation in the same report. Ex. I'm summing the count of records of yes and no's in query and then I'm trying to take this sum two produce a percentage. I keep getting the #Error. Any help is appreciated.

in the report query ,put something to count the yes/no rec as a new field:
select field1 ,YesCnt: IIF([field]='yes',1,0), NoCnt: IIF([field]='no',1,0) from table

then in the report, sum the YEScnt, NOcnt, and any other fields.

Thx for your response: I was able to create a field that counts the yes and no's..ex---Count PrecallNo: Count(IIf([Reviwshttable]![Precall]=1,1,Null)). I'm also able to go into the report and sum the count total. My problem is when I try to calculate the percentage of the count (in the Report footer) I get an error. My formula is sum([Ctprecallyes/[TotalCt]) and I have this expression in the report footer.

Have you got your names consistent ? [Count PrecallNo] but [Ctprecallyes] ? Certanly avoid having a space in the name.
Also the "Null" should be a zero.

Maybe a typo but you are missing one ]

.. My formula is sum([Ctprecallyes]/[TotalCt]) and I have this expression in the report footer.
