I have been asked to set up a database to track employees time off. Currently, we are using a Lotus Notes format, but we cannot continue to use this. So, here is my problem.

I am just a novice so your explanation will have to be simplified.
I have a table that has these fields:
Employee name, shift, starting date, ending date, hours.

I type in the employee, shift, hours they want off, day their timeoff starts and day timeoff ends.

I have my form that allows me to enter all data.
I made my report that only has the calendar (Calendar Control?)from the toolbox.

(1) I dont know what code and where to put it to populate the calendar in between start date and end date with same info.

(2) I dont know how to set up the calendar so that the day they want to look at can be clicked and see all employees off that day.

(3) Could it be set up so that when they click on the day they want to see, it could automatically show the next 7 days at a glance?

That is a lot I know, it is almost like using Outlook, but we cant use that program either (don't know why, something from Corporate says no)

Any help would be greatly appreciated. OR maybe I am going about this the wrong way.

Thanks, Noreene
