Hi All.
I hope someone here can help!

I have a subform with three cascading combo boxes. I would like for the user to select a Component Type from the first combo which in turn produces the Component names of that Type in the second, and lastly produce only the Component Part number in the third.

I have gotten it to work with one type of component, but I don't have a clue how to requery the rest of the components. Also, I haven't even attempted the third combo (ComponentPart#)

I don't want to sound like I'm begging, but I am!;)

I've attached the file and would appreciate a little help!

Thanks in advance!

I have studied that link and it just confuses me.

I have tried applying it to my database and nothing seems to work. I'm not sure what line of code goes where, and which combo box's property it belongs in.

I'm in way over my head, I know. I've only been working in Access for a couple of weeks, and am proud of myself for getting this far.

Any help is appreciated.

If you have the right RowSource in your ComboBox then all you need to is ReQuery the ComboBox in the GotFocus or OnEnter event. I'll take a look at your db.

This should get you a little further along in the project. You really need to study up on Normalization or you will be struggling even more down the road.

RuralGuy! I sincerely appreciate your help in this project!

I will look into the normalization thing!

Search this site and Google. Lots of info on Normalization.
