requery mainform unbound combobox using subform combobox value afterupdate

Please help!
I want to requery form1 from the afterupdate event of form2, but using the combobox value in the form2, as the form1 combobox value.
In form2, I enter opportunity name in a text box and country selected in a combobox dropdown.
The country selected in the combobox of form2 is used to determine the record in form1 unbound combobox.
How can I do this?

Yes I think that is what I want to do. (Form2 is not a subform of form1, the mainform, as incorrectly mentioned in my first post.).
Form1, the main form called Frm_Country, with PK called Country_ID, has a an unbound drop down combo box which determines the country to selected, for which their are various sub forms, including a sub form called Sfm_Opportunities.
When I enter a new opportunity, I load another form called Frm_AddOpp which allows me top enter a new opportunity and assign it to a country using another combobox dropdown. This all works well, but in the afterupdate event of Frm_AddOpp I force a requery of the main form Frm_Countries. I would like the mainform to go to the country that was selected in the combobox of Frm_AddOpp. Currently the main form Frm_Countries stays on the previous selected country.
