My question is about Access 2010 and I am coming from Access 2000.

In 2000, I could resize a field by tiny little increments. I use Shift+Arrow Keys quite a bit.

In 2010 there are no tiny little increments any more for me. It increases or decreases the field size by the grid dots (both vertically or horizontally). Is there any way to only get it to size by tiny increments again?

I hope I'm explaining this well. Let me know if I am not.

In Design mode for a form:

Arrange Tab > Size and Ordering Section > Size/Space - click the down arrow. Near the Bottom of the list you will find the Grid Options. Toggle the Snap to Grid option.

AFAIK, turning of snap to grid is global.

Note: When I was reviewing how to turn of snap to grid I was using a move not a resize. For me it did turned it off for moving.
