Restricting retrieval to records??

Hi everyone:

I'm working on a school assignment for Microsoft Access. In one of the following directions, it says to "Restrict retrieval to only those records where the customer has and address on Mallery."

I have no idea how to restrict retrieval to a record. Will someone please explain to me what this means, and how to do it.

My guess is it's telling you to run a query for those records where the customer's address is on Mallery. In the address field criteria:

Like "*Mallery*"

I think that you got it right man. I appreciate your help. I knew that I shouldn't have taken this Advanced Computer Class. I'm not really down with the queries part.
