I have a Database that has a main menu and 5 other forms. The problem I am encountering is that in Access when I let it set for a few min.(no set amount of time) it bounces back to the Main menu. The current menu does not go away and you do not lose any information entered it is just a pain. if you are looking at a screen and not typing after a while it minimize the current screen and opens the Main screen. you can take you mouse and click on the minimized screen and it will put you back into the correct screen. Is this a problem with Access, is it something I can fix, or do I just live with it.

is there a timer function somewhere in your code that is causing this to happen?

No, there is no time and the length of time varies. This morning we had the database up on two different labtops and one of them did this switch thing and the other did not. they were both up for the same length of time and both in the same database.

hmm... screensaver or anything else coming on?

No, it just goes back to the Main Menu. Like someone put the mouse and the 'start' row at the bottom and clicked the Main Menu.

very peculiar.... withouht some sort of timer or lost focus code i couldnt tell ya!

Thank you for your help. I am at a lost......do not understand why.......will continue to look at different things......

Again thanks

We are using Access 2003 and operating system Win 2000 Pro

Can you post the database or email it so we can take a look. I suspect that there is something hiding somewhere that you haven't found, but we might.

I am afraid that I can't. The company policy does not allow for this information to be distributed. I guess, I will have to live with it until something pops out and I am sure it will sooner or later. Thanks for the help

check for a timer code or some sort!! thats about all you can look for

So, would it be possible to make a copy and delete all of the information and just leave the bare bones structure?
