Rich text formating

I have a 2013 web app linked to a desktop db so that I can run reports. I have a field called Notes in the app, and on the App side my only option for format, if I want to enter text as if it were a memo field, is long text. The field is set to that, text entered. Now I am pulling this text/data into my report and I would like to, if possible, format the text as a block or paragraph using line wrap, etc; it looks pretty messy as is. On the desktop side, the control is set to richtext, but what do I do next?
Is there a way to format my text so that no mater how long the line it wraps neatly within the box, and has the correct indents.
