I have a main table where I am trying to introduce a risk rating capability. There are 8 risk that are all contributing to the overall risk rating. The main table draws from other tables via “lookup” so there is a combo box to pick the risk description. The source tables have 3 columns – ID (auto number), strRisk and intRating.
In my form I have the Risk description worked out via a combo box. Ie, the user can pick all 8 risks from 8 combo boxes. What I can’t seem to figure out is how to display the Rating next to it and to add up the 8 individual ratings to come up with an overall rating.
Can someone steer me in the right direction please. Not too many broad statement as I am pretty thick.
