Hello Everyone,

I'm hoping you can help me figure this out.

I am relatively new to wiriting databases in access, I did some a long time ago, but cant remeber what on earth I used to do.

I have created a database with all the information I need it and have a query set up that gives different results depending on the information the user has entered

The user decides what the query will display though a form.

I want access to generate a report with the information in it that the query chucks out.

However the information the query gives changes everytime depending on the user input.

Any ideas?

Base the report data source on the query. Report will update automatically with the query data.

Once the user has completed the form to input data into the query - just add a button to open th report.

Note: an incomplete form --- causes --> incomplete query --- causes --> incomplete report.

Of Course, Cant believe I was being that silly.

Created the report and it works brilliantly, Thank You

I've had a look at the pre-defined functions of a button, but can't find one to open a report.

Could someone help me with the coding.

I am familiar with macros and VBA though excel, but I have a feeling this is going to be a bit more tricky.

Thank You

Hi Guys
