run time error 2465

i'm trying to get my "total" button to work on my "Sales" form. this is how i did it: In design view i selected the "total" button, properties, event tab, selected event procedures for "on click" then i clicked a nutton next to it with 3 dots, and it opened a window , where between private sub and end sub i posted:Amount.Value=[SAles-Inventory Subform].[Form]![Text10].
My total button still doesn't work, what did i do wrong?
