Back in dBase IV it was possable to develop a fprom or complete program that could run without the over head of the developing program.
Example:
If you had a form that looked like a flag that was within Access
If exported All you would see is the flag, no Access because it would be a runtime prg.

Does Access have the capability to create a runtime version of the prg or forum.

Sorry for taking the liberty with some dBase terms but I thought there might be a dBase programmer out there that will understand. And I do suspect one fellow of being a great dBase programmer from the Aston Tate days.

I go back as far as dBase II. In fact there was no dBase I as they thought when launched it was a better ploy to let the buyer think that this ws an upgrade of an earlier version. Also there was no Mr Ashton. Again they thought that Ashton Tate sounded better than Tate alone.

You don't say which version of Access you are using. This is important to get a correct answer.

Are you referring to the package and go wizzard? I know in Access 97 and 2000 I would get the developer's edition that included this and allowed you to make a runtime version of your database. I used it once and it worked quite well.
I thought I read here somewhere it was standard with some newer versions.

I will check that out. And sorry, I am using Access 2007.
