Sample of adding and changing records in a recordset

I am new to this and would like a easy sample of how to add and change records in a dataset. I have a form which displays all the records in a table but I am unable to edit the records. I set the Allowedits property to true and still cannot change records. Please help!

use the wizard to create a form based on a table. Voila!
