Question sample request

I would like to request guy for an accounting program sample that will automatically generate accounting entry base on the particular transaction like cash sales.

I just need a sample for this to study. Please.

John Big Booty, I dont want to use those as I want to program one, that is why I am here to ask for help in the programmers section.

Accounting packages have some rather specific requirements, and given the number of cheap packages such as MYOB and QucikBooks to name but two, why spend a lot of time and effort re-inventing the wheel?

If you are looking for a learning project, I personally would be setting my sites an a more achievable target.

i know myob and quickbooks but i have other requirements. that is why i need to know how to do this. you may say its reinventing the wheel but for other specific requirements and not what is already out there.

Alansidman I have also checked on that microsoft template. It is accounting alright but not really automated where in accounting entries are generated automatically base on the type of transaction entered.

You will have to search the internet for templates or just start building and post back with specific question you have as you encounter situations that are unfamiliar. Good Luck with your project.
