Hi there access gurus
here's one for you that I am stuck on....
I have a invoice form with a 'Paid' checkbox. As soon as the checkbox is updated in the form I want this change to be reflected in the corresponding table so that I can then run a dlookup to see what the value of the form is and then print a corresponding report based on the value of the 'Paid' checkbox field.
My dlookup works perfectly if I close the form then re-open it and run the report. However, if I just update the checkbox field in the form then run the report straight away, it doesn't pick up the change to the checkbox therefore doesn't give me the right results in the report.
I have tried an after update on the field then acForm, acSave - but that doesn't work.
I have also tried the same on an onclick event when you click the button for the report - again, no go.
I looked at a update a field, off the top of my head (because I don't have the code here with me) something like
update.field
but I can't get that to work either.
Any suggestions from those who know all.... (or at least those who know alot more than me <grin>)
