I was wondering if anybody had a solution to the following problem... I have found it discussed several times on various forums but not a solution.
Access 2010, using a Navigation Form (the problem does not replicate outside of a navigation form)
If a change is made to a subdatasheet (for example resizing or moving a column) and then the user navigates elsewhere, a prompt appears to save changes to the subdatasheet.
I want to stop this happening.
I have not found a way to prevent the columns in the subdatasheet from being moved (well, not in a way that doesn't still trigger the save dialog) and I have not found a way to bypass the save dialog (which does nothing anyway, because the changes aren't saved even if yes is clicked).
It appears to be a bug when using the Navigation Form feature of Access 2010, but would like a way around it if possible.
Any suggestions are most welcome.
