Saving a calc. to a field

How can I save a calculation that is in a
control source to a field in a record?

You shouldn't store the value. Calculate it as you are, on a form or in a report or in a query

The reason I'd like to save the value is
because I'd like to DSUM the result for all the records in my table.

Is there a way to save it?

Use a query and use DSum on the query if you have to.
