I'm not sure if this is even possible, but I'd like to save a pdf to a form. Here's the issue. We track requests coming in from the public and it would be nice to attach to the request the original documents that came in. Each request is different in what is being requested. I'm just trying to make it easier for the end user to find the docs without having to go to other directories within the system to find them.

Maybe putting it on the form is not the place. Would love any suggestions on where I might be able to "house" these docs within Access for ease to the end user.

AccessBlaster! You are a GENIUS! I watched the video and it seems simple enough even for me a NEWBIE!

I'll let you know if I run into trouble. But thank you!

Ok. It worked great in one form but won't work in the other form I have. The one form it worked in the record source is the table. The other one the record source is a query. But I've added the attachment field to the table and the query and it still won't work. It doesn't give me the "Add" function only the cancel.

Any suggestions?

I just tried it by first adding an attachment field to my table, then creating a query based on that table. I used that query as my record source for a form. Then added my fields. In form view I double clicked the attachment field "Bingo" it worked for me.

I figured out where I went wrong. The FORM I was working in I had set to not allow any edits! DAH! After I set it allow edits it worked GREAT! SHEESH!

Thanks for helping me out.
