saving data question

how do I do so that when I open a form and I close it automatically it saves the data entered. Is this done by a property of the form?

I believe Access updates records by default when they're changed. There are ways to make it so Access will ask you whether you want to save changed records.

Why, are your records NOT being updated when you close a form?
