Hi there..i just got a quick question....Normally Access saves all the fields on a form when you exit the form...Is there a way to make Access pick specific fields to save and not the rest?

Any help would be appreciated!

Presumably you mean Access saves the data in a field? If so, do you want the user to enter data then not have it saved?

Yeah..precicely...only for some fields though...

If you don't want the user to modify some fields, set their locked property to Yes.

it is not modifying the fields I am concerned about...it is saving those fields.

Then why waste the user's time by making them enter this data in the first place?

Perhaps you have entries being made for a query to reference.

You could use unbound text boxes and they will clear when you close the form.
