saving information before print preview

Hi, I have a form with a command button that allows the report to directly viewed from here. The problem is it shows the information on the report before the fileds have been updated. How do i make sure all form fields are updated when i click on this button?

Put this at the beginning of your code, which is behind your command button;

DoCmd.RunCommand acCmdSaveRecord

thanks! all good now-i had tried something similar with a save command-just didnt get it quite right!!
