Saving to an External File

Hi I'm new here. and Im a newbie outlook user. I'm developing an application for personal use. (as a productive tool basically)

My idea is to have a History Field for every record (say per client).

The problem is I want to have each record contain history that is saved and date-stamped to an external text file everytime there is an entry.

Are you asking for an audit trail that will track the before and after changes to each records?

If so, check out the Audit_Trail.zip sample I posted last month.
