scale down a report

Im having a problem printing a report to scale of 50%. When i change the scale in the printer set-up it just prints a single page of the report at half size per sheet of paper. What i want is it to fit to pages of the report on one piece of paper.

The report in design view is one page, but is width means that it get clipped into 2 report pages in preview mode, and therfore prints like this.

Any ideas, i keep thinking i have it cracked printing and getting the same problems, feels like im slowly destroying a small forest, and an er er ink well?

Access doesn't support shrink to fit , have you tried changing the margins?

Yep margins are streched to the max. Its well over one page page and a half at least. I dont want to have to print this out on A3 and photocopy to reduce

Anyone know of any addins or tools that can re-scale this report? Or is it a case of reducing the fonts and sizes of each column.

Will your Printer preview mode re-scale?

Nope not in Access works in Excel though, why would they leave that out of Access?
