Scanning documents into Access

I need to be able to scan documents into individual records in access and I was wondering if this could be done.

Yes. you would create a table with an OLE object. than you could just paste the file you scanned into the OLE feild

What you can import into Access depends on what kind of scanner you have and what scanner software you have.

Most scanners give you some sort of static image, such as JPG or TIF. You can OLE-import the image (though I personally prefer linking to embedding due to database bloat issues). More advanced scanners can take text documents and import them as text through character-recognition software. Just depends on what you have.
