Schedule event - auto generate a report and send out

I need to send a weekly report at 11pm every Friday night to someones email.

I think there are 2 things I need:
1. automatically generate a report at that time.
2. automatically send an email with that report attached.
(maybe 3. attach the report to email, I've never done it)

Right now all my data is located on an SQL server, I'm just using Access as a front-end, and I know how to send emails from Access ( semi-auto - click a button, it will send an email to a pointed person with some data on the current form).http://www.access-programmers.co.uk/forums/editpost.php?do=editpost&p=1002100

If you want to schedule events to be fired off at a particular time then you should get your system adminstrators to sort that for you, you also have a scheduler on your desktop and can set a task to run at a particualr time, if done on our PC, then the PC must remain switched on therefore the prefered way would be to organise this with our Administrator

how exactly do I do that? I created a Scheduled Task, it only opened Access program for you instead of the query/vba code in xx.mdb file.
