Hi all,

I created a form with an embedded subform (continuous form). The main form (frame) has 15 buttons going down the left-hand side with the subform adjacent to them. This format works very well for my team and looks asthetically pleasing.

The lone draw back is that some folks have a small monitor or smaller screen resolution (due to eye contraints). As a result of these smaller screens/resolutions, not all of the buttons are shown and part of the right side of the screen is cut off.

I set the main frame form to show scroll bars (tried none, both, vertically, and horizontally), but the vertical scroll bars do NOT appear. The horizontal scroll bar appears, but nothing happens when clicking on it. The subform's scrollbar works just fine.

any ideas on how I can get the vertical scroll bar to appear?

thanks!

resize the form to fit the monitor - investigate using the maximise function

also ensure your form scrollbar property is set to both.

However you should be designing your form for the smallest screen so also look at making buttons and/or subform smaller

thanks for the feedback, but I figured it out. the subform was embedded in the header rather the detail section of the form. moving it to the detail section solved the issue.
