Search on Subform

Hi

I have a subform on a form. I know that there is a certain word in a field on the subform, but when I try to use the in-built search feature to search for it, I get an error.

It seems that the search on the subform only searches in the child records related to the current parent record.

Does anyone know how I can seearch in ALL records of ALL the parent records (if that makes sense) ?

Hmmm, not really unless you *release* the filter the Main form has imposed on the Subform. Remember when you use a Main/Subform scenario, linking them the subform is only *showing* what related to the Main form.

What built-in search feature are you talking about? The one on the Navigation bar?

Each form has its own navigation bar so if the nav bar of the subform is not visible then you're using the search box of the parent form.
