Hi All,
I am trying to search for a string within a PDF using a VB function. Problem is that VB is looking into the PDF as you would see it in a notepad editor, which looks like a load of gooble-dee-gook!!! And hence the word I'm looking for doesn't appear......
I've got a work around but it consists of opening the PDF first then copying the text then pasting it and then searching that instead.
My question is, does anybody understand the way PDF's are encoded i.e. is it a direct translation e.g. does the word 'PASS' translate to something like '#~?$' in PDF Language?
Secondly could someone explain it to me simply!???
Thanks in advance.....
