Searching for a specific entry and altering its data.

I want to be able to alter my data continously :update tel numbers etc. I have tried to use a query but when i return the results in a form i can't save any alterations i make to the entry. How do i overcome this problem?

What have you done to your forms?

Are they bound to a table, or a query?

It is the nature of form's to allow for the update of data.
If that isn't happening, then either the query is an updatable
record set, or the for has something like the DataEntry property
set to Yes (add records only).

Need more info, or a sample db, here.

I have a sample db that may be what you are looking for. The issues is that it is around 200kg, which is above the attachement limit. If you want if just send me an e-mail to support@nlsa.org and I will get it to you.
