I have a form with three combo boxes and one text box. There is a command button labeled search. This form is linked too a table and each box is linked to a certain field. Now what I want to do is if someone selects one field I want it to just search for that one. If someone wants to search all fields I only want it to bring up those records that are contained within all four fields. If they dont select anything right now it messes up the search that I have and this also needs to be resolved. Oh and one last thing I need to learn to set these text boxes values to nothing or some sort of default when the form loads up. If anyone has any idea please help me out this is driving me crazy.

Does anyone understand what I am saying here. If not I could try to clarify.

I havent been using access for that long so excuse this question if it seems confusing or stupid.

Take a look at this thread: Show All Records. It has links to articles as well as a search form example from jfgambit.
