I have a multi-user secured database, which has been working perfectly for over a year. Until now!
I had a problem when I compacted the database saying your 'Mysystempfile already exists' (or words to that effect). I read somewhere that I needed to export everything out into a blank database. Which I did, but only a week later it is doing it again. But that is not the only thing I don't understand. When I exported everything into a blank database and renamed and stored it in the same as before, all my permissions for my users have disappeared and it no longer seems secure. Even when I have reassigned the permissions it doesn't seem to work. Do I need to completely re-do the security??? Does anyone know why both these things are happening??
