I have created a database for my office which numerous people will use. However, in order to somewhat protect the database from people going and tampering with the raw source, I went into the Startup menu, and turned off the Database window, so now when the file is opened only the main menu appears.

What I want to do is to put a button into the admin section that will open up the Database window so that the administrator can have easier access to the raw source.

Thank you very much

Knight....you can still use the short cut keys. If you're not planning to change the database, then I would convert it to an MDE!

If you plan to edit it....holding down the SHIFT button will bypass the startup settings

You may either want to consider creating your own security or using the security wizard,

Also...just to help deter people...make sure that all of your form's "Allow Design Changes" property is set to Design View Only.
