SECURITY- Password Protection

Hi -

I recently secured a new database, this new database is working great, however, for some reason now when I try to open other access files that are NOT password protected and have No security features associated to them I'm being asked to enter a password. Why is this happening? I tried to enter the password I created for the other database (not that this should work) and it obviously didn't work.

Any thoughts?

The you have setup the security for your objects incorrectly. Go to design view and review your security options.

You must have joined the new workgroup instead of using a shortcut to open the new database with the new workgroup. You need to rejoin the original System.mdw.

How do I relink to the original System.mdw? There is only 1 mdw file. Do I do this through my secured front end?
