I recently renewed my SSL certificate on my NAS. My customers use it to map a network drive and access a database file on the mapped drive.
Since the renew of the certificate, I'm getting this alert and can't seem to get rid of it in order to use macros.

Any ideas what changed or how to remove this alert?

Thanks.

It may help to copy and paste the file so it is in a location where MS Access trusts?

You can ignore the READ-ONLY message because it is an effect, not a cause. If you fix the SECURITY RISK problem, the READ-ONLY problem should go away.

So... the catch with most SSL changes is that if you have a digitally signed object, the things that would want to USE that object need to know if the signature changes. AND if the problem is the other way around, the object needs to know that the surroundings have changed. You have to somehow let Windows know about the new cert. In other words, updating the new SSL certificate was likely only half the problem.
