II tested on a form based on a query with Selection=False.
In my tests, Recalc/Refresh & Repaint all allowed the form to update & allowed for the reverse action to work.
The obvious problem was that when reopened, the form would be empty if all had been selected

Without having a cut down version of your actual database it is difficult to advise further.
Thank you very much. I have attached Demo db, which simulates real version. Please ignore look up in this.
It has two queries (All data and Pending data), similarly two forms.
Forms with pending data has the problem mentioned above. thanks again.
ignore numbers (ID fields appeared on form)

Just playing around but here's what a multi-select listbox could look like

Thank you very much this is even much nicer way. I liked it.
This way I dont have to have different queries and forms for approved, pending, etc etc..
I am thankful to both of you @moke123 and @isladogs ... I learnt new and useful things from both of you. Kind regards.
