Select Query criteria

Hey,

Think this is a bit of a silly question but I can find anything about it.

I have a select query with the criteria that the user enters. Is there a way I can get it to show information that is contained in the cell but may have other text in there as well?

Find James when the cell contains James Smith and there is a cell containing James Jones.

Currently my criteria box is [Please enter in name to search for?]

Like "*" &[Please enter in name to search for?]& "*"
