Select Query

HI,

I am trying to help somebody out with their database at work.
They have a select query but cannot enter or update the data anymore.
i.e they cannot enter any more records. Database is not full by the way.
I have checked all permissions and everything OK.
I have logged on as an Admins and have full access rights.

Error i get is Recordset is not updateable.

They have a few tables with relationships and it all seems ok.
I know there are limitations on certain relationships you cannot update.

When they go into a form which accesses this query they cannot enter any data so problem is with query as have run it directly.

I've been playing about today and managed to enter data. Here's how
There are about 15 tables and fields i.e where it shows

table
sort
show
criteria
or

I deleted all but two of these and it allowed me to enter data. WHY ???
Any more than 2 and it won't let me enter data.Surely this is only to display certain fields you have selected from the
tables.
