Send data from one form to another

I was using this code:
Private Sub Delivery_Date_AfterUpdate()
Me.InventrySub.Form.InV_Date.Value = [Delivery_Date]
End Sub

and it was working. now it isn't. Can't figure out why.
This happened after I did a compact and repair.

Please post a descriptive question that includes what things are (textbox, dropdown, etc), what "isn't working" means, error message, precisely when the error occurs, what happens if there is no error, etc.

In other words, put the time into posting the question that warrants the people who are freely giving of their effort to try to help you.

It says: Run-time error '2465: Application-defined or object-defined error

The date field in form 1 need to also be the value of form 2 so, form one (date) sends the data over to form 2 (creating a new record)

This is confusing because you say "Passing from form1 to form2", but you show passing from the main form to the subform. Is that what was intended?
What this error likely tells me there is no subform control named InventorySub with a form that has a control named Inv_Date.
