send value to a report, query

in a form i have a button who open a report, this report use a query who need a parameter

how to send a parameter to this query, form?

I like using the registery for these task.
I find it real easy to use.

look for SaveSetting, GetSetting functions.

Just use an input form and reference the form from the query. Or remove the criteria from the query and then pass it when you open the report:

DoCmd.OpenReport "ReportNameHere", acViewPreview, , "[FieldNameHere]=" & Me.YourControlNameWithTheLimitingValueHere
