I am trying to use the SendObject macro to send a record out using Outlook 2007. Eventually I would like to make it alot more complex, but for now I would be happy with it just sending the email.
So when I click the button that has the SendObject macro I get this message:
My Outlook client is open and functional, and I have this message in my delete box from when I first tried to use SendObject the other day.
Eventually I would like the email to send from an organization box, but thats for later. Any help on this is greatly appreciated, thanks!
EDIT: I have some more info. It has this same problem when I just go to the E-mail button under the main menu in the top left corner of access. I started a new database on a different computer and it worked fine just going through that E-mail button, so I am assuming send object works fine on the other computer too. I tried it on yet another computer was prompted that the mail profile was not valid and the password needed to be configured.
Also the "microsoft access outlook add-in for data collection and publising" add in is active in Outlook on the computer where it does not work, but on the one that it does work it is not. Not sure if anyone has anything to make of this, but thanks for any input.

Microsoft Office Access can't open the mail session. Check your mail application to make sure that it's working properly.

Setting up Access Collection Using E-mail
This message was automatically generated and then deleted while collecting data using e-mail with Access. It is safe to permanently delete this item.
