Set two column combo box value using bound column value from openargs (1 Viewer)

@The_Doc_Man A bound combo IS bound to the main form record. I'm not sure what you are trying to say in 1 or 2. The RowSource of the combo is bound to a table/query or a value list. Also, bound combos are NEVER used for searching.

I've run into those also. Lots of code that didn't quite work to fix the unintentionally updated record.
