set warning and display in report (1 Viewer)

After user enter the begining date and ending date, how to tell the report print out those date had enter? And how to set a warning if the query doesn't have any record that user want to see? Please help. Thank you!

Download some of the sample databases from MS, "solutions" and rptSamp97 are two that spring to mind, you'll find examples there.

If the user enters data in a parameter box, just repeat the parameter in a text box in the report header. e.g. [Enter first Date] It will automatically put the data that the user enters.
