GM, any and everyone.....I am new to access 2010 and I am trying to write a required data macro. Meaning that based on a user selection of one field then the form will allow the user to contiune in filling out the form or a pop up message will block that user because they have selected the wrong choice on the previous field. Can someone tell me where the setfield action contol is? Again I am using access 2010.

Hi Dee:

If you open your table in datasheet view you will see a "Table" tab on the top. Then click on either the after insert or after update buttons. Once you have done that you will see the "Setfield" action on the right hands side (if not click on the action catalog button at the top).
