Dear All
I have created a form which I call "Switch" to automatically open when myself or a colleague opens this specific database. This has been set through the tools and then start up option on the menu bar.
On this form I have created numerous command buttons to open various forms. Reason being I want to limit the access of colleagues so that they cannot get into the what I call the "background" of the database so that they can basically do what they want in this database - i.e amend/create/delete etc any queries/forms etc.
Therfore when my main switch form is opened and then any other form I have created which you open through my switch form, I don't want other colleages to see any menu bars etc. or be able to get into the background of these forms by minimising or closing. Therefore the only way that I can see to remove menue bars is by creating my own menu so that once these forms are opened all standard menu bars do not appear, only the menu bar I have created, however the minimise, close, maximise icons still appear in the top right hand corner and the database icon still appears in the top left hand corner, therfore allowing the user to get into the background of these forms.
Is there any way around this at all? I use Office XP Professional and it's driving me mad as there must be a way.
I would appreciate anybody's help on this.
