Setting outlook calendar invite from Access 2010

Hi,

Is it possible to set a calendar invite in outlook 2010 with dates entered in an access 2010table ?
The user can add the recipients to the invite invite but is it possible to just create this calendar invite and not send it based on dates eneterd by the user?

We are planning to migrate to Outlook 2010 from Lotus Notes and I was wondering if this can be done.
