Shading records that meet criteria

How do I shade records on a form that meet a given criteria in a continuous record form?

You can use Conditional Formatting in the form to give certain fields differing formats dependant on a value or expression.

Take a look at this to see if this is what you are after.

I think this option may only be available in Access 2K though.

I have a2k, but I am not sure what is being suggested. Can the detail record background be change while the form is opening?

When in the form design view go to Format > Conditional Formatting ... It is all pretty self explanatory from there.
