Hello,

I need to share a microsoft access database with about 8-10 other people. I was looking into Windows Sharepoint Services but it seems like it doesnt support Access Databases.

Anyone have any suggestions on how to share an access database?

Matt,

In the simplest sense, just put the DB out on a server, and let everyone
have at it.

You can add Access security, custom launchers, etc. later.

I currently have my DB on a server at work which is accessed simultaneously by several people, so its easily done. Just put the record locks to "edited record" otherwise it wont allow people to get into the table/form (well, it caused me problems anyway!)

Sharepoint

Do you think having sharepoint services installed on my webserver would be of any use?

This has to be accessed via the internet as the people that need to use it are all over the area.

Thanks for your input,

Matt

hmm, not really sure.
You could create a VPN for people to dial into your network and be able to use it then perhaps?
