Shortcuts

Evening all.

One of my users has several Access databases, one of which has security enabled, and so requires her to join a particular workgroup. The others don't.

Is there any way I can set up one desktop shortcut to join this workgroup AND open the relevant application?

A generic example for you:

(Note: The path will be different if your client is running Office XP. Double quotes must be used if any name has spaces in it.)


In the Target field of the shortcut properties:

"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office\msaccess.exe" "c:\Company Databases\data.mdb" /wrkgrp \\servername\application\data\custom.mdw
