Show information ina form

I have a form frm_Repair it gets its information from tbl_Repair. I have a table tbl_Item that has three coloums, ItemID, ItemNo and ItemName. tbl_repair takes some of it information i.e ItemName from tbl_Item.

What I want to do is when I choose an item from the combobox in frm_Repair its associated ItemNo is automatically put into a text box on the same form.

Hope this makes sense. I'm not sure how to go about it!

No it doesn't make sense. Can you post a picture of the form then label the parts of the picture?

Any particular reason why you want to copy the ID from the combo box and put it in a text box? Why not just make the ID in the combo box visible by increasing the width of the column? If you do that, watch out for edits

This sounds like a good plan, I tried it but couldn't get it to display all the coloums.

I believe you may have tried to increase the width of the combo box and not the column width. Could you explain why you want to display the ID?

I dont want to display the ID, I was just saying that it was a coloum in the table. I want to Show the ItemName and the ItemNo. The item number is a basically a part number as designated by the user.

Bound Coloum is 1 and coloum count is 2, Widths are 3.7cm;1.7cm

Do you know what column of the combo box's row source these details are in? If you do to refer to the column you do this:

ComboboxName.Column(columnNumber)
