Show Monthly Obligations in Query

I have a simple table with the following fields:

-CaseNumber (text)
-Obligation (currency)
-StartDate (date)
-EndDate (date)

What I'd like to do is create a query that displays a record for the obligation on the 1st of each month between the Start and End date fields.

Something like: obligation: 100, start: 01/01/2012, end: 03/30/2012

Query display:
01/2012 - $100
02/2012 - $100
03/2012 - $100


Is this possible? any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Solution: Well, it's probably not the cleanest thing in the world, but I just created another table with each charge month.

Then, I wrote a query to show an obligation record for each month if the charge date falls within the start and end date.

Meh, it works.
